The following three images were sent to us from a family who recently moved to California from Texas. Being slightly homesick, a relative who still lives in the Texas was asked to take a few photos of the family’s old home. The husband reports that he had always felt a presence within the house, but was still surprised at the images.

Arguably, the most interesting image is the first. It shows an interesting mass that crosses in front of several portions of the entrance.

Jocelyn Z. from San Diego, CA, brings us this startling photo while participating on a walking tour of historic Memphis, Tennessee. Pete and Shelly from San Diego capture a vivid spectral wisp floating mid-air within Hitler’s WWII retreat, the ‘Eagle’s Nest’, while touring the Village of Oberzalberg, on the German-Austrian border. And no, it’s not tobacco smoke. Smoking is not allowed in this historic landmark.

Desiring to photograph the premium craftsmanship within the building for future reference, Shelly was initially irritated to have seen this anomaly cover the woodwork…until it was determined to be possibly paranormal.

Independent and long time Queen Mary historic ship investigator, Jerry Reynolds, captured an interesting image at the entrance of the first class swimming pool during a recent visit.

As Jerry tells it, “I noticed an image of what appears to be a human male who looks like the late Peter James. Peter acted as the Queen Mary resident medium for several years.

I showed this photo to Peter James’ co-author of the book Heaven-Can You Hear Me?, Gian Temperilli. He felt it looked a great deal like him and noted Peter started his ship paranormal tours in the very area the photo was taken.”

While waiting for dinner to be served, Heather takes a picture of her father, Jerry, at Long Beach, California's Queen Mary historic ship Promenade Cafe. Taken during GhostFest Expo III on January 24, 2009, is it a past passenger or ship employee that can be seen over Jerry's right shoulder? The photo was immediately reviewed and no person who matched the ghostly image was present.

Rancho Camulos Museum and State Park, Ventura, California: Light anomaly and EVP
Investigator Jerry Reynolds, known for his exhaustive investigations of Long Beach, California’s haunted Queen Mary Historic Ship, brings the sdGH team video of a possible light anomaly and EVP captured from within the historic Rancho Camulos Museum and California State Park located north of Los Angeles. Established in 1853, this registered national historic landmark is home to several original adobe structures including the del Valle family house, a Catholic chapel, and winery among others.

Here is what Jerry Reynolds has to say:
On October 16, 2010, a group of investigators gathered at the Ventura County, California, Rancho Camulos Museum. This video is of a phenomenon recorded during the investigation in an attic area that also served as the children’s room.

While the light or air particle mystery presented might be environmental, it’s in combination with an EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomenon) captured at the same moment that makes it especially intriguing. The camera was on a tripod and stationary, so all movement seen is by the phenomena. Presented as originally filmed, it is shown again with brightness and contrast adjusted for better viewing.

After an investigator explains the definition of a ‘Class A’ EVP to other investigators within the attic, the EVP is heard as the light ribbon passes by. It’s is clear but soft, so like with most EVP captures, it’s best heard with headphones. The complete phenomenon are isolated and repeated twice.

As Tim tells it, “It happened as soon as I stepped into the room, a simple “hi”. It sounded as though it was spoken directly into my right ear. It was a very loud, clear whisper, and there was no doubt that it sounded feminine.

San Diego Whaley House Museum: A welcome to Violet’s bedroom
First time investigators, Tim and Vicky from Santee, California, joined March 2010’s Whaley House Museum Paranormal Investigation Tour and received quite a chilling welcome when entering Violet’s upstairs bedroom. Luckily, Tim had just switched his video camera to record a split moment before entering, allowing him to capture the friendly anomaly.

Initially, I thought it might have been my girlfriend, but as I responded back, I turned to see no one was near me. This may sound kind of odd, but along with hearing it, I also felt it.”

Queen Mary historic ship “Goodnight, Jerry”: Long Beach, California:
Jerry Reynolds, independent and regular investigator of the RMS Queen Mary Historic Ship in Long Beach, California, was aboard the infamously haunted liner early morning July 31, 2010 when he received a friendly goodbye from an unknown entity.

“This EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomenon) was captured as my assisting duties for Pat Wheelock of Beyond Investigation’s midnight Paranormal Investigation Tour was coming to an end. As the tour group moved ahead and I collected my equipment, it appears someone offers me a “goodnight” as I exit the propeller box, an area where an exposed ship propeller is viewable to the public. The voice is clear and crisp, so no enhancement is necessary to understand it. The spirit voice sounds feminine and shows intelligence as it reacts to my exit.”

Two of the digital photos surprised me because I am not a believer of ghosts in the traditional sense. One taken in the dining room appeared blurry to me at first but upon enlargement, it clearly shows a figure in a dress near the door. The second photo was even more disturbing and interesting. My daughter posed in front of the Whaley’s bedroom and in the back by the chest was a clear, smiling face, almost maniacal, with a green glow.”
